WINTER STORM WARNING now in effect for Thumb Area, advisory expanded

Pretty much was inevitable. A WINTER STORM WARNING is now in effect for most of the thumb area, as snowfall totals look to exceed 6" for certain, with localized amounts as high as 10 inches to a foot possible.

The advisory area has been expanded as well to include most of the Saginaw Valley and areas along the I-69 corridor. Several counties along the snowbelt and U.P. have also been upgraded to a warning. Stay safe out there, and stay off the roads if at all possible.
