Questions regarding timing, location of storm system making forecast difficult

Next Thursday may wind up not producing anything through lower Michigan, but instead the upper Mississippi Valley into the western U.P.

The last few GFS model runs are painting a very different picture regarding the timing and location of the surface low which is forecast to affect our area next week. As of right now, the aforementioned regions may be under the gun for severe weather. Depending on timing, we could see thunderstorms Friday, and they may be significantly weaker. I've changed the outlook to represent these changes in the forecast.
