Western/Central U.P. has some chance for severe weather Thursday, and looking like stormy Friday in lower MI

The dry weather we've been experiencing is about to end, at least for a couple of days.

Most of the models are predicting a slower progression to the system that looked a bit more intimidating last week. The current forecast is for the system to produce marginally severe thunderstorms over Wisconsin into the west central U.P. on Thursday, which may reintensify a bit as they cross into Central/Eastern/Southern lower Michigan on Friday. Short term models can't see this yet, so it's up in the air, but my current thinking is that this isn't going to be that nasty. We may have a wet couple of days on our hands, though.
