Severe thunderstorm warnings are popping up all over central lower Michigan at this point. It's safe to assume that with the day's heating only picking up to the east of the current storms, any storm that moves into said area should meet or exceed severe criteria. I've updated my outlook to reflect this development. Widespread heavy rains and damaging winds remain the main hazards. A severe thunderstorm watch may yet be issued for SE lower Michigan.
