MCD issued for southern U.P. and northwestern lower Michigan

There is a 40% chance of a severe thunderstorm watch being issued within the next two hours for portions of the U.P. and northern lower Michigan.

PROBABILITY OF WATCH ISSUANCE...40 PERCENT

This risk will likely spread to central and southern lower Michigan as the evening progresses.  If a watch is issued, I expect the risk for those areas to increase.
