Quite a contrast between Wednesday's precipitation outlook

The difference between what the GFS predicted as of just two days ago vs. what the NAM is predicting now is like night and day.  I'll let this image speak for itself.

Now, the NAM is a bit notorious for overblowing precipitation amounts, so I'd not put too much stock in that forecast of five inches of rain for Clinton and Shiawassee Counties, but it's also highly likely that we're going to see a heck of a lot more than a half inch of rain over the next few days, let alone the next ten.
