Entire weekend might be dry and beach-ready after all

The first NAM run that can see almost the entire weekend has come in, and it's changing Michigan's outlook quite a bit as far as the weekend goes.

Temperatures are in line with what the GFS predicted - mid to upper 80s are expected, though I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 90° in one or two places on Saturday.  The big change is going to be precipitation, or lack thereof; the NAM is predicting that the storm system I've been watching over the past week will lag to the west well into Sunday, which is a departure from the GFS's prediction of rain in SE Michigan Saturday night.  So far, it's predicting rain on Sunday south of the I-69 corridor, but dry conditions to the north.  This could mean that those of us on the shores of Lake Huron could enjoy another warm, dry day at the beach before the wave move almost assuredly brings rain to our area on Monday.
