Marginal chance for severe storms in upper/NW lower MI today, SE Michigan tomorrow



The Storm Prediction Center's day 1 outlook has highlighted the Upper Peninsula and the north west corner of lower Michigan in a marginal risk category for this afternoon.  This designates a 5% chance of severe wind/hail in any storm that may pop up, and possibly even an isolated tornado.



Tomorrow, southeast Michigan takes its turn, with a current marginal risk category for isolated severe weather highlighted from the Thumb area southward.  Stay safe!
